BHM to MCO

“I hopped off the plane at LAX with a dream and my cardigan.”

Oh, wait. No I didn’t. I actually hopped on a plane at BHM and hopped off at MCO. Sorry you had to see me channeling Miley Cyrus. It’s just that every time I get near an airplane now I mentally start singing that song. Oh, come on. You have to admit it’s a catchy tune.

Girlfriend here thinks flying is the best.

Hey! Ya know what would be fun? If we raised and lowered this thing 500 times!

Oh, keep your pants on. I didn’t let her.

Normally Billy is on Stella duty when we fly. That’s so I can sit alone and be whiny about having to fly.  She was fine, though. I did fine too, thanks for asking.

We snuck off to Disney for a few days with my cousin Margaret and her daughter. Yep, you’re right. Margaret IS the one that got the really bad driver’s license picture that time.

Here’s whats chock full of ye olde irony: paying a bajillion dollars to go to Disney World and then they have a super fun time playing with the ice at one of the outdoor drink stands.

Ladies! We could have played with ice at home! Move it, sisters!

See the Magic Bands the girls are wearing? The bands get you into the park, into your hotel room, onto rides faster and a plethora of other things. Due to Margaret’s awesome planning the bands assured us that it was actually fun to go to Disney in the summer because we had lots of great fast passes! Also, she planned all our meals AMAZINGLY. Except for the Turkey Leg at Hollywood Studios. I’ve decided to blame that lapse of judgement on her.

We did a few character meals and they were so much fun. Stella had never done anything like that before.

That’s because we haven’t done a character meal since the boys were this old:

And now they’re this old:

I promise, you could not have found two more appreciative little girls at the character meals.

Every single picture is like this. The girls would go into this feeding frenzy type of glee.

It’s like, life before they met the characters was rough but now…smooth sailing.

Now, it’s Disney and it’s the summer so I can assure you the trip wasn’t all giggles. There were some meltdowns.

“The Preschool life can be hard Donald.”

But all in all we had a great time – ice playing and all.
